I'm show you guys how to make an awesome business cards it's gonna take me two seconds hick How To Create Your Own Business Cards! Make An Impression !!! scant because we're gonna for my name is their names you can find me on Twitter at can find me here and for making videos to help you guys get better Photoshop and photography and business cards is today and I just got back from vacation thing southern Utah giant rocks arm they were awesome and I think just you guys did the same I put a bunch pictures on the form Facebook page so I'm sure you guys saw digital printing services those and where you guys how to make a business card can be very graphic oriented and it's going to be easy totally cool and you can do it I managed show you how to make no matter what your name is I'm serious how to make it look very pretty professional an awesome so the first thing I want to do is a look at his business card real quick Idec to download it from the site it's a great affect business card stock rom this business card template done here's a link to that and basically what we're doing is I open it up and show you guys how this works and you have your safe zone which is inside this blue in this case and this is where basically don't want tax and everything to go outside at because what happens these a business cards get printed and she in something stamp them out and that stamp is is pretty close to good but it's not perfect so they want to be sure that when you step it it's not going to stamp out anything that is actually really important so that's why they put the safe zone than trimming zone which is probably about where this thing will get stamped again it's not exact so this probably and then you have you bleed zone where you have something that image-based like we do here you want that all the way out to the edge now image size here just got image image size its by inches that's gonna get cropped in .1 inches so it's gonna be to buy
inches at the end in resolutions can be pixels per bitch part so this this specific and business card template I think it's pretty good one but you guys might have a different one or gonna do is i mean actually bring in some of our images here in just kinda put them right over top so we hold down SHIFT and click and drag summer for images and these are my images in this is why I think that you your monitor probably gonna look fine and something like this big okay so that my solution there now if you do have something that's you know full-size this image is quite a bit bigger and you can also use the crop technique let's just hold down shift in command and I can crop this in this is totally weird image I know a lot on my images are very very weird but I'm weird so there that is I of this image is a little bit more normal maybe you could put her in there or sizes little bit larger now the reason I'm sizing is larger I just pull these off my own website so am I didn't grab the full size images but if you did and that and you won't have to upskill your images there okay and if you wanted to go super fancy you can actually use an image like this and you can rotate it so when a the text to and my default area which is totally cool just it over there and I'm not typing my name here in a now I have a relatively short name five letters to my first name for min my last name and to be like skill your letters either white or smaller this over here is going to be a change the distance between the letters themselves so I recommend changing the top one out bottom on the bottom one looks like this gonna look horrible just please don't do that if you show me your business card and it looks like that I will be disappointed so we just saw the one in said omitting that like need a fifteen you can see the letters just get a little bit closer together net looks way better then messed around with that so world we're really looking pretty good and that the economic might name a little bit bigger just cuz I kinda want to and know we're gonna do I need a line this along the center so many command well down command and click on my name and then background layer and then I'm using a Move tool and I'm gonna click over here you have your a line tools you can either linus along the right along the center along left where you can do the bottom the center or the top so depending on how you want to do it let's just grab the center there we go you can see it's just the lines this for the background layer so now you have perfect spacing between the left and the right side of your name you don't have to worry about like is it actually perfect you know was it 1 pixel to the right or the left whenever and now i cant find it along both center so we're aligned on both centres and depth hurry up to you if you do wanna learn it on both centers are not and and then what you can do if you want to move it around like I'm doing here if you hold down the shift key in law only let you move it left to right upper down or to tackle see you will not shift in just drag it down never go and something like that actually works pretty well am but the i think thats this could be a little bit smaller someone to hold down the when he command T to transform it put on shift grabs for and then hold on command sorry command T shift in option and that's you know do it from both sides there we go and then you can just kinda but this wherever you want to be and and this is you know this is the only part that's gonna take a little bit have finesse is figuring out where you want this in your image you can put it on the bottom but then covering up something interesting you can put along the top alright word is something like that and you know what in this case you might even wanna do something like this I'm just gonna delete neice from there never go hit man enter to buy that me quick and write this down to make a duplicate if that doesn't work on their and then just type in neice alright so there we have you know now it just says Aaron a sick man T make that a little bit smaller alright so the reason I like doing stuff like this is because it's very well image-based people conceive when your name is things like that but it's not but you don't have to tell people what kinda photographer you are because thinking just look at it and be like all he takes picture this stuff apparently and so thats work this is going on so remember you bleed this is let's just go ahead merge those two together member you bleed I'm gonna make this a little bit less visible and you're just going to want to be sure that any text you may is inside his blue line because that's where it's going to get cut off now these two %uh McMahon click on those and then amusement move to make sure the both a line to the left so they're perfectly there and ever go it is that the text is aligned there so even if that gets cut right there it's totally okay not a big deal and we're ready to move that on to next image so that the quick example how to do something like I think they look good professional it's mostly relied on the fact that you have a full image and let's do another image and I'm seeing as how to do happen maybe if you have a longer let name I'm how to make that look good so let's try let's just do you its group those together with do name that I like and ever go Abraham Lincoln thats really good name never got so Abraham Lincoln this is a bit longer a name yes so or gonna do we're gonna go with the other side instead of trying to make it relieved fic in like blocky business card that we go with alright so their knees business card now what we do is a make a new layer and then I'm just gonna choose you can choose their own white or black am if I wanna go black just stick with what I had already I'll do that and then we'll have Aaron eighth so this'll be you know on one side you have the images and then on the other side you can do really whatever you want
